 A free outdoor concert  Friday evening Sept 7th .  Public square in Murfreesboro.  Featuring The Whiskey River band which they were great and it was a beautiful night.

Kick start your health

Everyone who knows me also knows of my husband’s six-year fight against cancer.  Though we lost Mike in January, his struggle helped me to understand the absolute necessity of living a healthy livestyle, including exercise, good food, yoga, and having an overall good outlook on things you enjoy.  This is why you’ll see me post here about bird watching (something I love), reading, and more.

Happy Mothers Day

With Mothers Day coming in a couple of days I wanted to share some fun recipes from Food Network. Personally, I think I’ll try the smoked salmon and cream cheese frittata, then move to the fresh fruit and mint salad.

Update: Since I’m new to blogging, I didn’t realize I should’ve written this as an individual new post.  Sorry that I lost the Cinqo de Mayo post, but next time I’ll know!
